    Fun TV/Film Podcast

I look forward to this coming out each week, the guys tend to epicly disagree on most movies leading to a pretty deep dissection of why they each think the other is wrong! On the TV side they are very current on new TV coming out and have steered me to a number of TV shows I might otherwise have missed. They each have a segment within the show that breaks up the podcast nicely, all in all its a great show - only complaint is each episode is usually only an hour, they could easily go longer.

    Great Chemistry

Really fun to listen to; the varying hosts have a very good chemistry/rapport, and their interactions are genuinely fun to listen to. The episodes I've listened to have been well structured, and the host has a great grasp of how to keep things moving. I'd check it out if I were you. Audio quality varies due to the teleconference-y recording (which is more than excusable); all the same, a perfectly enjoyable podcast.

The Secret World Chronicle

RATING:    (1 review) | Rate it yourself!

The Secret World Chronicle

Famed fantasy and sci-fi author Mercedes Lackey and newcomer Steve Libbey have joined forces to create a superhero-themed braided novel podcast series called The Secret World Chronicle. Eight books are in the works, with contributions planned from established and up-and-coming writers. The series depicts an ensemble cast of metahuman characters coping with worldwide attacks by a mysterious, technologically advanced Nazi secret society, and the ensuing chaos. The Secret World is a meeting ground for pulpy adventure and thoughtful science fiction speculation, where ordinary people are elevated above their fellow humans and must grapple with the consequences of their newfound abilities. Mercedes and Steve chose to present the stories in podcast form to take advantage of the flourishing interest in the medium, and to tie the stories back into the old adventure serials of the early twentieth century. The stories are read by professional actors and recorded with modern fidelity for a comfortable listening experience. The mp3s will be archived on the Secret World website (www.secretworldchronicle.com) for easy download throughout the life of the series.

The Pod & Chips Podcast

Pod & Chips is a mix of topical banter and chat, mixed in with a bit of sketch comedy. In case you're wondering, I think when we were thinking of things to call a podcast, I had chips on the brain. That should come as no shock to anyone who knows me. So welcome to Pod & Chips. The idea, then, is that this podcast will evolve over time - but it starts with some musings on life and the positions we find ourselves in; and some sketches.

Gems of Divine Mysteries

The decade-long exile of Baha'u'llah in Iraq began under the harshest of conditions and at the lowest ebb in the fortunes of the Babi Faith. It witnessed, however, the gradual crystallization of those potent spiritual forces which were to culminate in the declaration of His world-embracing mission in 1863. In the course of these years, and from the city of Baghdad, there radiated, Shoghi Effendi writes, "wave after wave, a power, a radiance and a glory which insensibly reanimated..." - audio podcast
