In Da Streets Radio was started in 2006 when the Blog Talk Radio internet hosting opportunity first became available by a female MC /Singer name Nina Capone. In Da Streets once went by the name of Girly Music Radio, the station was initially d to give female artist an opportunity to get their music heard, as the station developed a year went by and the stations founder noticed that more male artist were submitting than female. Therefore Girly Music was inappropriate she decided to change the name. As Nina began receiving music from all the locals as she hung out in Philly’s events and venues she came up with the name “In Da Streets Radio” since the streets is where she received her music. Since then IDS Radio has grown, Nina now offers the same exact opportunity to all artist except much more there is now a full featured website of the station that promotes and brands the station and the artist that are affiliated with the station. There is also a Magazine “The Reussi Magazine” that is due to surface sometime in late August 2012.

Hi This is a bit about the Fresh Unsigned Radio Show. I started up the Fresh Unsigned radio show in the summer of 2005 to give new and up and coming bands and artists a platform for their music. I felt there was so much good talent around that did not have the opportunity of any air play so I set up Fresh Unsigned. I feel that there is a lot more to music than just the top 40 music chart. I play list indie, rock, goth, psychedelic, reggae, ska and acoustic on the show. The Fresh website has been very successful over the last year. However, I need more bands and artists/listeners from all over the world to take part in future programmes. I’m also looking for a Media Student to help with tracking down new bands for Fresh Unsigned and recording features. Feel free to check out the show www.freshunsigned.webs.com and www.soundcloud.com/freshunsigned www.twitter.com/freshunsigned All The best. Dean James.

KU ride again! Kusha Deep Music release the KU’s new EP ‘Zeros + Hero’s’ to follow up the successful ‘Heads Up’ Its all out rock n roll soul on this next release which features three tracks from the album they are currently recording. ‘The Pressure’ a big Mod sounding classic, pounding pianos drums, bass and lyrics filled with a got to escape from the survival routine message, that makes it an anthem for all nine to fivers. Along the same theme is ‘Something 4 The Weekend’, some great arrangements moving from Latin Rock to Reggae Dub in one easy move, a track that never wants to come down, mmm remind you of anyone? For those that are unfamiliar with the band KU, let me bring you up to speed. KU are a very soulful rock band currently signed to Kusha Deep Records. They come from South East Of England and made up of 4 members, Darragh Jye (Vocals,Piano,Guitar) Tim Clapham, (Drums) brothers Dominic (Guitar) and Mat Croxford (Bass Guitar) The sound is a mixture of genres from bluesy soul to dub rock underpinned with some classic song-writing. The music that has influenced the sound comes from the British rock of the Small Faces, The Who to the American super soul of Mowtown and Stax. Darragh was signed to Cool Tempo back the 90’s with a garage dance outfit called Taste Of Paradise who scored a hit with a dance-floor classic Reach Out, since then he has written, remixed and produced for BMG, Polydor and Festival Records in Australia where he lived and worked for five years. He also runs Kusha Deep Records, and hosts a radio show for a Canadian based station called IE radio. Tim Clapham has a veteran status in the band having started out in the North East Of England mixing with the likes of Chas Chandler from the Animals and touring with the legendary Thin Lizzy. and Spencer Davies His drumming comes out of the John Bonham handbook for hero’s and keeps the KU sound tight as a drum. Dominic and Mat have a maturity beyond there years where most 20 s
