Strange music for strange people is an eclectic mix of just about every type of music. We seek out the best indie rock, the most ground breaking of the experimental and avant-garde and the weirdest outsider music. If people call it music and it has a purpose other than filling the pockets of the major labels we hope to share it with you.

This project is a search of space for the life leaving for borders of habitual linearity. It is an attempt to designate the objects existing outside of any traditions of society - by means of a thin musical marker. An attempt to live by some own rules on which borders it is possible to breathe freely. This project is the electroacoustic model of an amorphous room where any concentration on details is inadmissible, where it is impossible to estimate the sizes and distances. Everything is so conditional, that the reserve becomes quite tangible substance known as "freedom".

We love music even more than chocolate and we constantly research, listen to & painstakingly collate what we consider to be the best music in the world. So we thought it would be a nice idea to put out a weekly radio show to spread the word about some of our musical discoveries and support the world of quality, underground music. Samples in Motion represents my personal journey in collaborative soundsculptures. The intent is to share with the audience how I construct and deconstruct soundscapes and compositions from synthesized sources or ambient microphone recordings. I describe the process I use to come to those results. I make source material available to allow the listener to submit his or hers own work, which I then use in the show. The main reference site is my webpage on http://samplesinmotion.com You can also link to the feed on http://www.garageband.com/user/serge_audenaert/podcast/main.xml. Or you can search in iTunes for Samples in Motion. Enjoy the show and I look forward to your contributions!! Serge
