a variety of great music, tune in each week. You never know whats gonna be playing next. I quite honestly sit down and paint a musical portrait based on my mood, and available music. An impromptu mixtape, if you will, each week. if you can't handle variety, then keep moving, this isn't for you, but if you have the cajones to handle it, come get some

Two married late 20 somethings have humorous arguments about movies, music, video games, family life, the daily grind, politics, religion, and all the other stuff too taboo to talk about. It’s quick, fun, and opinionated. Inspired by The Daily Show, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and Entertainment Weekly reviews. Feel free to disagree with us. We can take it.

Covering current events, pop-culture, literature, politics, economics, science, music and anything else of the ‘brainy’ kind. With your hosts Moe Shinola and Buddha VonStrangehate…(some names have been changed to protect the guilty). We’re not academics, nor experts in any particular topic. We’re autodidacts on a rampage through the countryside of reality…Generally described as “high brow subjects, low brow talk.”

We here at AmateurSkeptics are not scientists. We are normal people who are trying to look at the world with an evidence-based approach. We strive to have open minds and change our opinions with new evidence. We know that the smartest person can fall for pseudoscience or bad data if they don't have the ss to sift through it. We are not all scientists, and should have to be, but it is important to have the ss to ask the right questions and filter out misleading information. The problem is that we are not in most cases instructed in how to think critically. We are taught that seeing is believing, and this isn't true. Although we are not scientists we do believe that everyone can and should have the ss to analyze information. We should be able to ask good questions, and decide if what we are looking at are good conclusions based on good data. We think that all people should move beyond belief tems and move towards accepting good data as facts. We should be able to change what we accept based on what changing discoveries in science support as true. It is important for us as Skeptics to be more concerned with the procedure of getting data and less on the out come, as it is the process that makes good data. This podcast is about our journey down the winding road of skepticism. Join us as we learn the ss to live in a science based world.

To Be Named Later is the newest thing to hit the media waves…a show about sports! (haha) You should download it, listen, subscribe, and even contribute! We don’t just hit the world of “regular” sports, we hit everything: from professional sports like the NFL, MLB, and NBA, to college sports, to even wacky sports. If you like sports talk radio with the feel of being at the bar with a bunch of your friends…pull up a seat and listen! We bring you every perspective, from the “expert” (Will) to the average fan (Bryan) to the female’s perspective (Charlotte), you’ll hear every angle of all the biggest (and craziest) sport stories of the week! We start things off with the top 5 stories of the week. We rank them in order of usually importance or how we feel about them. Now this will typically include the biggest headlines, but sometimes there will be such an oddball headline story (such as a baseball player getting literally traded for baseball BATS) that we stick it in there. Next, is our “dumbass of the week” segment. This involves everyone from athletes to workers for partciular teams, anyone that does something really idiotic that week. It’s a segment we really enjoy, and one you get to give us feedback on via the weekly poll. Other weekly recurring segments include “Fantasy Minute” where Will talks about some hot and cold players for the week in the world of fantasy sports. And, we usually wrap things up with the weekly “Two Minute Drill” where each one of the hosts get to spend two minutes talking about whatever is on their mind for that week. Some two minute drills have included Jason Giambi’s magical thong, Boxer Floyd Mayweather making it rain with actual counterfeit money…you never really know what to expect! If you have any other questions about the show, don’t hesitate to e-mail us at [email protected]
