An edgy SciFi drama with a "choose your own adventure" twist--the Silent Universe mixes elements of "24" and the new "Battlestar Galactica," revealing layers of suspense and intrigue that leaves audiences guessing at what twists its plot will take next. But what makes this dramatic podcast truly unique is that its audience will be able to guide the storyline by giving ideas and feedback through a dedicated set of internet forums, located at http://www.silentuniverse.com/forums. In the series of monthly episodes, agents of the secret counter-terrorist organization "SERENDIPITY" will fight to undermine the deadly efforts of dictators, assassins, warlords and political extremists, bent on upsetting the delicate balance of peace throughout the solar system. Its motley cast of characters includes weapons specialists, a computer hacker, an ex-mercenary and even a casino tycoon, all forced to go to extreme lengths to prevent tragedy from striking mankind. In a world where nuclear weapons are common to even the poorest countries and the United Nations is nothing but a quaint historical footnote, even the smallest conflict between powers can threaten to plunge the world into Armageddon.

Flores Girl: The Children God Forgot By Erik John Bertel Genre: Adventure Novel The scientists were shocked at the startling fossil discovery: three-foot tall adult human ancestors that inhabited Flores Island only 16,000 year ago! The media ran story after story, including a 60 Minutes segment, about the amazing hobbit find in Indonesia and their recent extinction in Flores. However, the scientists are dead wrong! These archaic people are still alive today and they will be unwittingly introduced by two American researchers to the cruelest of all modern-day predators: humanity! These three-foot tall humans are not the Hobbits of the JRR Tolkien’s stories, but a small tribe of prehistoric people, Homo Floresiensis, living in seeming isolation for nearly a half million years on the Indonesian tropical paradise of Irmă Flores. In their unrelenting quest for knowledge, Sarah and Richard unintentionally expose these innocents to the onslaught of the modern world including corporate profiteers, ardent religious zealots, and to the pirates of the Flores Sea. In the process of discovering and befriending these ancient people, Sarah and Richard must survive a clash of very divergent egos while reawakening their own fragile humanity and suppressed desire for love. Warning, this adventure novel contains adult themes, language, humor, a strong dose of graphic violence, and a complete disdain for most authority figures. The author narrates the podcast, with an accompanying music soundtrack. For more information about the author and book, you can visit www.floresgirl.com.

Barb and Deb have decided to have a mid-life crisis. After all, we've reached that magic age, and having a midlife crisis is a very trendy thing to do. However, neither one of us is a rich woman, so we gotta figure out how to do this on a budget, and we decided one way to cut corners was to share the same midlife crisis instead of indulging in our own separate crises. We're putting our midlife crisis in a podcast so we can share our pain with you. For those of you working on a tight fiscal and/or emotional budget, or maybe you just don't have time for your own midlife crisis, feel free to have your midlife crisis vicariously through us. During our midlife crisis we'll wax nostalgic on the 70's and 80's, chat about music and news, share what we're doing to maximize our midlife crisis, and maybe even go on an occasional adventure like Thelma and Louise, but hopefully with a different ending in another forty or so years... did someone say road trip?

This is a Science Fiction novel called 'Engines Under Ursus'. The Nanoteks are called N-Teks in the story and is set far in the future on a world co-inhabited with other aliens who compete firecely with the humans. The N-Teks themselves are millions possibly billions of years old and have been around long before the new alien colonies arrived and settled Erstol and are essentially harmless. The center of human power in the city is CityNet on Erstol but something goes wrong; the normally harmless N-Teks start attacking CityNet, probing it out attempting to undermine it and they are succeeding. No-one knows why they are attacking CityNet. Could the other aliens be behind it? Only one man could possibly know but he was placed in the Tank for having done experiments with the N-Teks - a punishable crime. Now they must take Tom Fowler out of the Tank, the man whom they imprisoned for working with the N-Teks; the only man who can now possibly save human power on Erstol. The aliens with whom they once warred look on, offering no help; the competition between them is as fierce as ever. But what about Fowler, does he care enough to help out his own kind; especially those who took away his freedom and now want his help?
