Skeptics Guide to the Universe
It is fun while still being educational. The regular panel includes people who pay attention to science news, and the moderator is a genuine scientist and science educator. But they aren't afraid to have fun!

Once great but now gone to seed.
I listened to every issue since early 2007. Sadly the team's skeptical credentials are now in tatters, having revealed themselves to be hopelessly in awe of the global warming promoters. Ignoring all recent evidence that contradicts every aspect of the scam, from glaciers and polar ice through sea levels, surface temperature trends and the role of CO2, the Novella brothers plus sidekicks now openly disregard all data that contradicts the alarmist view. A great shame, as this was once one of the few podcast greats. Now it's just a tedious, 1 1/4 hour drawl covering the same old ground and spouting the same old stuff (vaccinations, conspiracies and now AGW). Arrogant and opinionated, tired and well past its best, the SGU is no longer worth the trouble. I never bother now.

simply excellent
Some podcasts come and go. This one is a keeper. Critical thinking in the context of what is going on today. These folks are smart, witty, and extremely articulate. If he ever ran, I would vote Steven Novella with the rest of the crew as his cabinet. Additionally, they have some outstanding interviews and the format is clean and professional. Love it!
