In December 2006 in a 24 foot ply-wood boat, with only 2 oars to propel them and the power in their bodies to drive them on, www.WAYN.com members Stuart Turnbull and Edward Bayliss will row unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Tom McLean is a former SAS member and survival expert who lived on the island of Rockall from 26 May to 4 July 1985 to affirm Britain's claim to the island.Tom Mclean also holds the world record for the first man to row across the Atlantic Ocean. In later years he broke more records by sailing the Atlantic in the world's smallest boat. He started his military career in University at East Midlands UOTC.
