Pathways to the Sacred
This brilliant program is something I'd expect from one of the heavyweight stations, not little PVM. The material is broad-minded and original. Jourdan is unobtrusive, insightful and articulate. Bravo.

wonderful variety
I really like this show because of the variety of spiritual paths discussed. Pathways to the Sacred is not afraid to go from the most conservative and dogmatic guests to the most speculative new agers. I knew nothing about Rastafarianism before I heard an interview with a practitioner on Pathways to the Sacred. My own sense of the Divine has grown since listening regularly to this show. The previous reviewer used words like "agenda" to imply something obviously sinister about this show, but he/she never says what that agenda is, or how many shows he/she listened to. If you are a conservative Christian and you hear an interview with a Pagan, then you might form a certain impression of what the show is. But if you listen to a several shows over a couple of months, you'll hear that the host - stale wit notwithstanding - is not trying to push anyone into a specific direction. I highly recommend Pathways to the Sacred to anyone who appreciates the wonderous variety of religious

cliché
Within an obvious agenda an often self indulgent and pretentious host finds ample opprotunity to flash his stale wit and dusty factoids. The opening theme and introduciton beg for mental images of Lars bouncing around on stage in Serendipity. As much as I pray, I'll never get those hours back.
