| #442 - Silencing the Voice of the Accuser | |
| 11/12/2009 | Download File (28.24 MB) - right click to download | |
| We all have sinned and made mistakes, but once we ask for forgiveness, scripture says God will not remember our sins anymore. The moment you asked God for forgiveness, He forgave you. So when the accusing voice comes reminding you of what you've done wrong, trying to make you feel guilty, condemned and unworthy, that's a sure sign it's not God; it's the voice of the accuser.
Romans 8:1 says, "There is no condemnation when we're in Christ Jesus." One way to know that guilt and condemnation are not from God is that you are not improving. It doesn't make you do better. Guilt is like being on a treadmill; you're constantly working and struggling and sweating, but you're not going anywhere. It drains your strength, your energy and your enthusiasm. It affects you emotionally and physically, and eventually, influences your relationships. Guilt makes you feel like you're carrying around a heavy load. But when we silence the accuser in our life, our heavy load is lifted and we walk in freedom. When we focus on the right things, we move forward in the right direction.
When you know the truth, the truth sets you free. And the truth is: God has already forgiven you, accepts you and approves you. But it's up to you to rise up in that freedom and leave the guilt behind. You can't do anything about your past, but you can do something about your future; you can receive God's mercy, keep moving forward and silence the voice of the accuser in your life.
| #407 - Activating Faith Instead of Fear | |
| 11/6/2009 | Download File (28.43 MB) - right click to download | |
| We have many opportunities each day to worry and live in fear. From being worried about the economy, our health to our family and children, the list could go on! But did you know faith and fear having something in common? They both ask us to believe something is going to happen that we cannot see.
Jesus said in Matthew 9:29, "Have with your faith expects". It's important to use your energy to believe because what we meditate on the most is what's going to take root. If you go around all day thinking about your fear, it can become a reality. But when you focus on faith and God's provision, your mind stays full of peace and you give God room to show Himself strong in your life. Faith moves the hand of God, not fear.
God promises to meet all of our needs according to His glorious riches. Sometimes you may not see how it can happen, but don't use your energy to worry. Use your energy to believe. It takes the same amount of energy to have faith as it does to worry.
Our God is all-powerful. He has brought you through in the past and He is going to bring you through in the future. So switch your gears to having faith and trusting God. God works everything out for good and to your advantage!
| #441 - Your Destiny Supersedes Your Mistakes | |
| 10/30/2009 | Download File (27.72 MB) - right click to download | |
| God's plan for our lives isn't dependent on having to be perfect, never making a mistake or never taking a wrong turn. When you make a mistake, God isn't shaking His head saying, "I never dreamed he would do that. He ruined My plan." The scripture says God knows the end from the beginning. That means He knew every mistake we would ever make.
Nothing that you've done or any mistakes that you have made or ever will make is a surprise to God.
He already knew when we were going to turn left even when He said turn right. He knew when we were going to hang around someone even though He warned us they would be a bad influence. God knew every poor choice. The good news is He had already planned a way to get you back on His best path for your life. He has grace for every weakness and mercy for every failure.
Failure is not final. Mistakes don't have to keep us from our destiny. God's plan can override every setback. You may have failed a thousand times, but God has not written you off and canceled your destiny. Your mistakes do not disqualify you from God's plan for your life. He still has a way to get you to your final destination.
| #415 - God's Hand is Outstretched Toward You | |
| 10/21/2009 | Download File (27.81 MB) - right click to download | |
| God's hand is outstretched toward us. That means there is supernatural power behind every believer. We don't have to go through life just depending on our own talent, our own ability and our own strength. God's hand will help us accomplish whatever seems impossible.
God's hand can break any bondage we have in our lives: a bondage of addiction, a bondage of depression, a bondage of poverty, a bondage of sickness. All it takes is one mighty act of God's power.
God's outstretched hand will help you accomplish dreams that you thought were impossible. His outstretched hand will cause you to get well even when the medical report says there is no way. The outstretched hand of God will help us to prosper even when the economy is down. His outstretched arm will bring supernatural opportunities even when it seems impossible. It will turn situations around that you've been praying about for years.
Release your faith and realize there is a force that is for you that is greater than any force that will ever be against you. Stretch out your hand and get in agreement with God. When our outstretched hands connected with God's outstretched hand, supernatural things are going to happen.
| #412 - Increasing Your Capacity to Receive | |
| 10/15/2009 | Download File (27.88 MB) - right click to download | |
| Psalm 115 says, "The Lord your God will increase you more and more." Increase has always been on God's mind. His desire is that we would never get stuck at one level. Jesus said He came that we might have life to the full, in abundance, until it overflows.
It says in Psalms, "Open your mouth wide and I will fill it." This means God is ready to fill you with overflowing blessings, increase and provision; but the question is what are you expecting? What type of container do you have ready to receive increase? It's time to get rid of the small containers because God has blessings and opportunities that are far beyond your imagination and expectations.
God wants to take you places you've never even dreamed of, but your capacity to receive and your level of expectancy will either limit God or allow Him to work and do great things in your life.
It's time to give God permission to increase you. If you'll take the limits off of God and believe for supernatural opportunities, expecting far and beyond favor, you won't be disappointed. God says you're going to be blessed!
| #440 - You Are Blessed and Cannot Be Cursed | |
| 10/8/2009 | Download File (27.74 MB) - right click to download | |
| David said in Psalm 109, "They will curse me, but God, You will bless me." You may have had a lot of unfair things happen in your past, but your past or even your heredity cannot stop you from God's destiny because God's blessing and calling over-rides any curse.
When you understand who you are and what God has already done then no matter what someone else did, no matter how unfair it was, no matter how you were raised, you won't get bitter and live defeated because you realize that cannot stop you from fulfilling your God-given destiny.
You may not be able to choose where you were born or how you were raised, but you can choose to walk in God's blessing and fulfill your God-given purpose. You may have had parents that put you at a disadvantage but you didn't come from your mother; you came through your mother. You came from Almighty God. He gave you life. That means your destiny, assignment and your purpose cannot be ruined by who you came through. You came from the Most High God and He has the ultimate say.
When you understand God's blessing over-rides any curse, then you will press forward with a holy determination knowing with full confidence that you will see God's plan for your life unfold.
| #439 - Being Pruned So You Can Bloom | |
| 10/1/2009 | Download File (28.06 MB) - right click to download | |
| Life is full of different seasons. There are growing seasons, where we're seeing increase and promotion and making all kinds of progress and then there are seasons of trials, difficulties and hardships where it seems as if we are taking a step backwards. It may seem so, but it's during the pruning seasons that God is positioning us for something greater.
If we are going to become everything God has created to be, just as we receive the growing seasons in life, we have to accept the pruning seasons, as well. God will never take something away without putting you in a position to receive something new. What you think may be the worst thing that could have happened could turn out to be one of the best.
When you're in a slow season and not seeing any growth and it seems as if things important in your life are being taken away, stay in faith; the disappointment and loss wasn't meant to work against you, but for you. If you will stay in faith, that season will come to an end and you will come into a new season of growth, opportunity and new friendships. You are being pruned for one reason: so you can bloom, so you can blossom, so you can spread your wings and be everything God has created you to be.
| #438 - Programming Your Mind for Victory | |
| 9/24/2009 | Download File (70.57 MB) - right click to download | |
| Programming your mind for victory is extremely important in your faith because you become what you believe. All through the Scripture, God has said so many great things about us. In Ephesians God says, "I have blessed you with every spiritual blessing." In Colossians, "I have made you worthy." In Psalms, "I have surrounded you with favor as a shield."
God has already blessed you. He has already made you more than a conqueror. He has already given you a crown of favor. So often, we don't tap into what God has already said about us because we don't feel blessed or see how we are blessed with our natural eyes. Yet, by faith, we have to get into agreement with God and start acting like we're blessed, talking like we're blessed, walking like we're blessed and thinking like we're blessed.
Even when you don't feel blessed, you have to believe and receive it by faith. It has to get deep down on the inside. You may not feel blessed today when things are coming against you with your family, finances, or health, but decide to be bold like Abraham and say, "God, if You say I'm blessed, then I believe I'm blessed. My checkbook may not say I'm blessed. The economy doesn't say I'm blessed. The medical report doesn't say I'm blessed. But God, I know You have the ultimate say; and since You say I'm blessed, my report is I am blessed." You have to believe it before you'll ever see it.
If you will put actions behind your faith and believe, you will see what God says about you become a reality.
| #437 - Have a Different Kind of Spirit | |
| 9/17/2009 | Download File (27.03 MB) - right click to download | |
| Too many people go around negative and discouraged. They focus on their problems, what they can't do, and how they'll never accomplish their dreams. If we're not careful, that same spirit can rub off on us.
God wants us to have a different kind of spirit, a spirit of faith. When everyone else is complaining and shrinking back in fear, you move forward in faith. Instead of talking defeat, you talk victory. When others are complaining, discouraged and overwhelmed by their problems, you are at peace and full of joy. You have a spring in your step because you know God is in complete control. Even when the giants in our lives look big, we have a different perspective; we know our God is bigger. It may look impossible, but we know God is able.
If you want to make it to your Promise Land and fulfill your God-given destiny, you have to have a different spirit, one that walks by faith and not just by sight. God promises that not only will you be blessed, but your children and descendants will see His blessings, favor and increase!
| #436 - Be Fully Persuaded | |
| 9/10/2009 | Download File (26.96 MB) - right click to download | |
| When you are fully persuaded, you are confident that God is going to do what He has promised in your life regardless of how the situation looks. Even when it seems all odds are against you, you have an unshakeable confidence deep in your spirit. You don't focus on the impossibilities; rather, your focus is on your God.
When you are fully persuaded, no matter what someone tells you, no matter how impossible it looks, you know God is still on the throne. He would not put the promise in your heart unless He has every intention of bringing it to pass. You don't let a seed of unbelief and doubt take root in your heart and become permanent. Rather, you stay in a place of faith, digging in your heels. It may not be possible in the natural, but we serve a supernatural God. His laws supersede the laws of medicine, science, finance and nature.
God has a way of bringing out His plan in our lives. We don't have to worry and fret. He created the moon and the stars and holds the universe in His hand. You can trust Him and be fully persuaded that all things are possible for those who believe and whose hope is in Him.
| #414 - Believing For A Supernatural Year | |
| 9/3/2009 | Download File (27.65 MB) - right click to download | |
| You might have planned on having an average year, but God has already lined up an extraordinary year. It doesn't matter what has happened in the past or even this year, God still wants to show Himself strong and has a plan for your life. He not only wants to meet your needs, He wants to give you the desires of your heart and even the hidden dreams that no one knows about but you. You may not see how it can happen; but remember, God has a way.
You might feel like your dreams are too big, a relationship is too far gone, or you're dealing with a sickness you think you have to live with the rest of your life. But Scripture says, "Is there anything too hard for God?" It's time to get a new vision for your life this year and put on a new attitude. God is all powerful and can turn any situation around. It doesn't matter what it looks like in the natural. He is a supernatural God.
You may have seen victories in your past, but what God wants to do in your future is going to supersede anything you've ever seen before. This is your year for far and beyond favor. This is your year for supernatural opportunities and connections, a new day for God's supernatural favor and breakthrough. Release your faith for a supernatural year.
| #435 - Have a 'Never Say Die' Attitude | |
| 8/27/2009 | Download File (26.82 MB) - right click to download | |
| You've been anointed to make it through difficult times. When God breathed His life into you, He breathed perseverance, determination, strength, courage and endurance. That means you have staying power; you can outlast every attack.
God did not create us to give up when it gets hard. He didn't create us to get discouraged when we face obstacles. He made us more than conquerors. We have victory in our DNA.
If you're going to fulfill your destiny and become all that God has created you to be, you have to have a made-up mind that no matter what comes against you, no matter how long it takes, no matter how many times you get knocked down, you are not going to stay down.
Life may throw you some curves. There may have been some bumps, but every setback is a setup for a greater comeback. Scripture says, "Because you got a double dose of trouble and more than your share of contempt, your inheritance in the land will be double and your joy will go over." Difficulties in life were never meant to destroy you; they were meant to strengthen you, promote you, and make you better off than you were.
If you will dig your heels in and have a never-say-die attitude, then no matter what comes against you, no matter how long it takes or how difficult it is, when it's all said and done, you will become everything God has created you to be. You'll receive everything He has intended for you to have, and God will turn every battlefield into a blessing field.
| #434 - You Have Inside Information | |
| 8/20/2009 | Download File (27.34 MB) - right click to download | |
| We don't have to go through life guessing what we should do. We have the Spirit of the Most High God living on the inside of us. We have a Counselor, a Helper, an Advisor, a Researcher, and a Guide.
Jesus said, "He that has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying." God speaks to us in a still small voice. It's a knowing, a prompting, a suggestion. It may not make sense in our minds, our emotions may be telling us otherwise, but deep down in our heart, we know it's the right thing what we're hearing.
God is constantly transmitting. The question is do we have our receivers tuned?
When we take the time to be quiet and listen to what God is trying to show us, we gain inside information. God can protect us from danger and even warn us of the next move of our enemy. He can give us discernment to know right from the wrong, and the phony from the genuine relationships.
If you will listen and take the time to be tuned into His inner promptings, letting peace be the umpire, you will continually stay on God's best path for your life and reap the fruit of living His best.
| #411 - Walking in the Fullness of the Blessing | |
| 8/14/2009 | Download File (27.78 MB) - right click to download | |
| What you've seen in the past is a tiny fraction of what God is going to do in the future.
Scripture says, "I will come in the fullness of the blessing." That means to the highest degree, the greatest measure. Everyone of us as God's children have what scripture calls "the blessing". It's an empowerment, a divine enablement to accomplish our God-given dreams. But there is a level of blessing God is going to release in your life like nothing you've ever seen before. What you've seen in the past will pale in comparison to what God is going to do in the future. He is going to unleash explosive blessings to where suddenly you find yourself further than you ever imagined. Instead of just dreaming your dreams, you'll be living your dreams, walking in the fullness of the blessing.
| #433 - Investing in People | |
| 8/6/2009 | Download File (27.63 MB) - right click to download | |
| When we hear the word "invest", we often think of investing in the stock market, in real estate, or for retirement. While it's good to invest that way, the truth is, those investments will eventually fade away. The best inheritance we can leave our children and others around us is what we invested in them, not what we left for them.
When we're not taking time to share what we know with the next generation, then we are not being faithful with what God has given us. God expects us to impart to others.
The next generation should not have to start over. They shouldn't have to re-learn what we've already learned. We should be pouring everything we know into our children, into a young person, into that co-worker in the office.
We're all leaving a legacy. Let's make sure it's an intentional legacy. The only investments that are going to last are the investments we make in other people. We didn't get to where we are on our own. Somebody invested in us. Make it a goal to invest in someone else. You can leave a mark that cannot be erased. If you will take time to invest in people; mentoring, teaching, training and modeling, then those seeds that you sow will be multiplied back to you.
| #432 - Living Life As a Healer | |
| 7/30/2009 | Download File (26.86 MB) - right click to download | |
| Everywhere we go there are people in need. They may smile on the outside, but on the inside they're hurting. Scripture says one day God will wipe away all the tears. There will be no more tragedy, no more sickness, no more pain. But in the mean time, God is counting on us to help wipe away the tears of those that are hurting. God wants to heal, and He uses us as instruments and representatives of His love to dispense hope and healing.
All around us people are dealing with family issues, health problems, rejection, broken dreams, low self-esteem. You never know what they're going through. Our job is not to judge, our job is to lift the fallen, lift the broken and heal the hurting.
Everywhere we go we should dispense the goodness of God. When you see someone that's down, and you go over and encourage them, you just became a healer. You just released God's goodness into them. When you call a friend that's discouraged and you say, "Hey, I'm thinking about you. I know there are good days up ahead." You just poured in the healing oil. It can be something simple, even just smiling at a stranger. You might not even know that person, but you became a healer. God caused your smile to say to them, "You're important. I care about you."
Are you lifting the fallen? Are you taking the time to help someone else? You are a container filled with God's goodness. Release His healing wherever you go.
| #431 - Don't Have a Critical Spirit | |
| 7/23/2009 | Download File (26.87 MB) - right click to download | |
| In life, no matter how much good there is you can always find something bad if you look for it. You can develop an eye for the good or you can develop a critical eye.
Scripture says, "To the pure all things are pure." If you can't ever see anything right, you drive down the freeway and only see the traffic, construction and potholes and never the beauty, if you only see the scratch on the floor and never the amazing house, if you never see what people do right and only what they do wrong, it's time to clean your window; the way you view life.
When we let a critical spirit rise up and start magnifying the wrong things and think thoughts like, "Why do they dress like that? What's their problem? If I were them, I wouldn't do that", our spirit is being polluted and we're hurting ourselves in the long run. When we are critical and judgmental, we are sowing seeds for others to be critical and judgmental back towards us.
God longs to continually bless us and take us higher and higher in all aspects of life, but we have to make sure we're doing our part by keeping our heart pure, our mouth free of gossip and our minds free of judgment.
Make a decision not to be a faultfinder because that can keep you from your destiny. Just as one develops a habit of seeing the worst, you can train yourself to see the best in others. There is good in every situation.
| #430 - Be Faithful in the Small Things | |
| 7/16/2009 | Download File (27.22 MB) - right click to download | |
| The road of greatness often goes through the road of smallness. Scripture says, "Don't despise the day of small beginnings." When God has something great for you to do, He often starts with something small. During the years of doing what might be considered an insignificant task where it looks like no progress is being made, that's when you're getting prepared the most for the great things God has in store.
You may feel like you're doing something right now that's insignificant. You're in the wilderness. You're not growing, and you've got bigger things in your heart. But you need to have a new perspective. When we show God we're faithful in the wilderness, He'll promote us to our promise land. Just because we might start out small does not mean we're going to end there. But we have to remain faithful even in the small things. When we're faithful with the tasks at hand, that's building character. Our roots are going down deep. We're developing strength, trust and confidence. You will only go as high as your roots go down deep.
Don't despise the day of small beginnings. They lay the foundation for how far God is going to take you. You may feel like nothing is happening, but God is closely watching you. And at the right time, when God knows you're prepared, you're going to shoot up, and God is going to thrust you to a new level.
| #409 - Stay Open for Something New | |
| 7/7/2009 | Download File (27.22 MB) - right click to download | |
| God desires to do something new in all of our lives. Even when we feel it the least, when disappointments happen and we go through hard times, He still desires to show Himself strong. Often times what keeps us from the new things He wants to do is not stepping out of our comfort zones. When we step out in faith and are willing to grow, to walk through doors when they open, to meet the new people God places in our lives and when we take advantage when new opportunities when they come, that's when God does exciting things in our lives.
You're not too old, and you haven't made too many mistakes to see God do something new in your life. He knows how to get you to your final destination and how to connect the dots. When one dream dies, dream another dream. Just because something didn't work out one way doesn't mean God doesn't have another plan; nothing has to destroy your future. God has something new for you! The key is to sir up what He has placed on the inside and to be willing to get out of your comfort zone. When you get excited about life again and step out when doors open, you will see the newness of God in your life in ways you could never even imagine! It's time to believe again. If you'll stay open for something new, God is going to bring you out to your brightest hour. Your greatest victories are not behind you, they are in front of you!
