I play alternative music that usually classified as indie-pop however I sometimes delve into other musical genres such as funk, dance, country, and punk.

A song from 1987 that I have never heard of was my top song of the week, thanks to the Popcasting podcast ( http://popcastingpop.com/ ) for letting me know about it.
The second set was interesting as it mostly stemmed from a few of the openers that I have seen lately and really enjoyed, bands names Bleached and Hospitality. Although I wasn't paying a great deal of attention to them when I saw them, I now wish I had as I have enjoyed listening to since seeing them. Just goes to show you that you should always try and at least listen to the opening acts to see if you should get the venue early. This is similar to what happened last year as I enjoyed the albums by both the Craft Spells and Veronica Falls more than the bands they opened for.

Finally a show of relatively new music after all of the best of shows. I have been waiting a while to play the Dimitri From Paris remix of Sister Sledge which just gives me a great feeling whenever I listen to it. That led to funky opening set which I followed by a couple of sets featuring songs that have been on my MP3 player for a while.
