Hi, I am Don Tipton, and here on my podcast are some songs from my CD- Holy Fire and some others from my upcoming CD- High Time. These are songs that will minister to you were you live. They will touch your heart, and spirit, and lead you into worship of the living God. Songs such as the straight up lively worship song- Hallelujah, to the country rock song- Holy Fire, the title cut from my album of the same name, then there is the easy listening finger picking song- Here In Your Presence, and if you are a country music fan, then you will like my CD- Raised On Country, growing up in the hills of southern Ohio in a musically talented family, besides Christian music, country music is also in my blood, from the heart felt song I wrote- It Was Country, a song based on my youth where on Saturday nights my family would get together to share a meal, and then listen to my Uncle Howard, and the rest of my family play country music. Then when I reached the age of thirteen I got my first guitar, which I sing about in the song- I Was Raised On Country. My Uncle Howard taught me a few basic guitar chords, and music was seared into my life forever. To this day I have written hundreds of Christian, and Country songs that until recently were never heard outside my family, and friends, and now because of the modern day internet, my songs are being heard all around the world, from the sweet love songs that I have been inspired to write thanks to the love of my life, my wife Paula, there are songs such as- A Little Good Lovin, and- Love Song From My Heart, to the beautiful ballad- I'll Be Here For You, which is a duet that I sing with the accompaniment of my oldest daughter, Gabrelle Ricketts, and dare I forget the traditional country sound of- In Fifteen Minutes.
