Episode #7 takes on the 80's as only The Kitchen Sink can. No Kajagoogoo here, just another diverse selection of music from the (near) decade of Ronald Reagan that'll have you reliving the days of leg warmers, valley girls and boomboxes.

The 3rd time was definitely a charm with this very politically charged episode. Music features Laurie Anderson, Blind Faith, U2, Black Sabbath, Midnight Oil and TKS faves The Abe Lincoln Story (www.soulpunkswing.com).

Here's where it all began. The first of The Kitchen Sink's post-ARN, long-format episodes...and the shortest. Who's playing? The flyer tells you all you need to know. Where it's always been about the music... A note, please ignore references to "check us out" on Mypodcast, Zencast and all other websites.

Celebrating seven years of podcasting, the Blast From The (Kitchen Sink) Past continues with another timely episode. Delving deep and clearing out the archives, this 2008 2nd Anniversary episode honors rebirth and the return of Spring; it's the perfect way to follow up our Iraq War commentary, really. If you can keep your toes from tapping, keep from breaking out your long underused air guitar, keep your mind from exploding with joy during this one, then there's definitely something wrong with you. If cleanliness is next to Godliness then we're all in trouble because this is one down and dirty episode that you won't soon forget. Where it's all about the music...

LIBERAL PUSSIES: A TKS BLAST FROM THE PAST EPISODE

"Those who do not remember their past are doomed to repeat it." As we approach the 10th year of the start of the war with Iraq, what better time to take a look back than with this 2008 TKS episode that does just that. From George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleeza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, and Colin Powell...all your "favorites" (and their excuses) are here. No weapons of mass destruction here. Hubris, maybe. But one thing is for sure, you'll not find another podcast on the internet featuring music as commentary like this. You don't have to agree with the politics of this episode, but the arrangement and music, I'm sure you won't forget anytime soon. Fluke, Midnight Oil, Laurie Anderson, The Abe Lincoln Story, Squirrel Nut Zippers and much, much more. For those of you looking for who a good read, may I suggest the following from some friends of mine: The Brueck Equation by Simmons Norwood (www.simmonsnorwood.com) The Dead Cat & Other Tales by Glenn Fukushima (www.createspace.com/3859553) Trails & Tribulations by Norman Nichols (www.eloquentbooks.com/TrailsandTribulations.html)

Weldome to BLAST FROM THE PAST. Where I try to exploit current events for the sake of increasing my numbers. Here's one for the CRAZIES. Since everything seems to have gone to hell in a handbasket, what with the nutjobs seeming to take over our news as of late, for a sad variety of reasons (usually guns), here's an oldie but goodie for them. I am sure you will enjoy.
