I had to do it. I could not resist. Cooking here in the Czech Republic is a bit different. I had to try my hand at Fish Head Soup. As mentioned previously I was a vegetarian for 13 years until recently. I learned to cook in vegetarian housing co-ops. This is a great place to learn to cook but as a result I tend to cook very large meals, and I dont really know how to cook dead things. So I thought I would try something new and give it my best attempt. Thankfully it all turned out well. While I did not have guests over to prove to you that it tasted good. Later on one of my flat mates had 2 bowls of the soup. I think that speaks well of it. An he is French. I think the French know their soup. Yes I was a bit skeptical all the way through. But hey, live a little, try somthing new I say. So I present to you "Fish Head Soup".

I spent part of the morning today filming some interesting stuff. Near the Flora metro station there is a fish stand. Every Christmas these fish stands are all over the place in Prague and apparently elsewhere in the Czech Republic. The guys at the stand gave me permission to film them. [...]
