Be very careful with this episode folks.. I think it may be cursed, hexed, or somehow possessed! It took me 6 attempts to correctly "bounce" and finish this episode in Pro Tools. That's 6 x 30 minutes of waiting for the file to save and then wham! Crash! I've seen my mac do things in the last 4 hours that would make a grown man cry. Not enough to make me switch to Windows mind, but enough to tempt a frustrated podcaster.

A friendly haunting warms us up for a what's described as "the most terrifying EVP ever recorded", we also look at a new book on the so called Flying Saucer Air Wars of 1952, and an elderly Swedish man recalls his fascinating encounter with a crashed craft and its doomed, extra terrestrial occupant.

Episode 78 is finally here and it contains the usual MU goodness along with some updates on whats been going on behind the scenes of late.
My other full time project, the SOH Network, successfully launched this week after what has been a long, and complicated relaunch. I've been guilty of taking on far too much work than I should have in the past 2 months and unfortunately MU has suffered because of it.
The good news is that the bulk of the last month's sleepless nights setting up and tweaking the 9 websites (and podcasts, RSS feeds, artwork, feedburner, etc...YES 9 of them!) is behind us, and Mysterious Universe has now taken its place back on the SOH Network. The show now has an executive producer, an accounting team, and a marketing team all set to start sometime in November. The plan is that this will allow me some sorely missed time I need to not only return to a solid schedule but also push the show forward into a fresh direction.
A huge thanks has to go out to all the MU bloggers for their wonderful contributions to the site. They are all volunteers and put in a tremendous amount of work without asking for anything in return. With the hard part of the SOH launch behind me I want to join you again with some posts of my own on this trendy little blog we have going here ;)

- People are lining up to take over the lease on my apartment. This is good news as I can finally move out and get my new studio setup.
- After moving and setting up, MU will return to a regular schedule
- After the schedule restart, Premium Members will receive extra shows per week until the owing shows from previous weeks have been fully made up.
- There's a dead Yowie in my freezer.

My expectations for this episode were pretty low before the final mix. I honestly thought I sounded like a wounded frenchman due to my blocked nose, but it ended up sounding much worse in my head than the final finished product.
But what wonderful stories we have on this episode! The Crop circle formation in the UK is simply stunning, and the hovering of black helicopters and stiff, military like figures in unmarked white vans just adds to the mystery.
