Here’s the latest at Second Life… I’m David Lawrence.
Last February, an unofficial Apple Store opened in Second Life, complete with a glass elevator and Genius Bar. That store was merely an homage from an enthusiastic fan. But the fake virtual Apple Store may soon face some competition from a real virtual Apple Store. Apple has filed a US patent entitled, ‘Enhancing Online Shopping Atmosphere’ and appears to contain plans for the creation of on immersive and interactive online shopping experience.
Lillie Yifu makes a healthy living as an upscale avatar escort. So she sees a side of men that their real world mates probably don’t. And she’s decided to share some wisdom, with an essay entitled, “A Page From Men: The Missing Owner’s Manuel.” It’s a bit of practical advice for keeping men happy in the real world, based on what she’s learned as a working girl in Second Life. Ladies – ignore Lillie’s advice at your own peril.
