Upon my return from a 3-week vacation on Cape Cod, I went on a 12-mile run in along the Palisades in New Jersey, and of course, I brought along my MP3 recorder.  In this podcast, I tell a story of swimming across a pond with my son, Sam. The music on this podcast was composed by Sam as well.

Not much new here, but I summarize the three things on my mind at the end of July, 2006. I describe the process of doing a podcast about using blogs in the classroom with the participants in the NYC Writing Project's "Blogging in the Classroom," and I describe how they collaboratively wrote descriptions about their new WordPress blogs. Second, I discuss the differences I'm beginning to understand between WordPress, Drupal, and elgg.  And I finish by beginning to discuss what we need to do this fall to have a good Webcast on World Bridges.
