This past Sunday our little podcast turned 2! At this point Dan, Ryan and I have been recording podcasts together for quite a while, even before we formed Perpetual Geek Machine. It's been a fun and unique experience, getting to know people by chatting about the things that bring us together. We're not ready to slow down any time soon so I sincerely hope that you're ready to be with us for the long haul. Thanks for listening and if you like what you hear, tell your friends! During this Geek Spew Dan got a chance to sit down with game designer Chevee Dodd. He's releasing a pirate-themed game called Scallywags that looks pretty great and he's been kind enough to give us a copy that we're giving away to you! All you've gotta do is drop us an email at podcast (at) perpetualgeekmachine (dot) net. If you happen to use your best pirate-themed language we're not saying you'll have a better chance or winning, but we're not not saying that either. On with the show! Here's the link to give Perpetual Geek Machine: Show #00053 a listen! Here's the breakdown on where to find/follow us online! Follow us on Twitter. Like us on Facebook. Perpetual Geek Machine Podcast - TheBBPS Jeopardy Flashback

Some required context for this one. Perpetual Geek Machine has been around since 2010. But in 2006 we used to be called The Bits, Bytes, Pixels & Sprites (or TheBBPS for short) and had a podcast there called "The Bitcast" which ran for 90 episodes. During one of those episodes we decided to play a little game of Jeopardy, and then co-host Jim Squires (now editor in chief of Gamezebo.com) came up with questions and played host while Ryan, Kevin & Dan all played. Hard to believe this happened all the way back in 09. Here's the original description: "Listen and play along as Jimmy “Alex Quebec” Squires quizzes us about all things games. The categories and questions (or should I say answers?) are top notch all through out. We can’t tell you who wins or who we even play for so you’re gonna have to listen to find out. We learn a lot about the crew on this one. Ryan’s complete and utter lack of how Jeopardy! works, Dan’s deep knowledge of the movie War Games, Kevin’s ability to pull answers right out of his ass and Jimmy’s unhealthy obsession with certain celebrities. Hopefully it’s as much fun to listen to as it was to record. Enjoy! Thanks one more time to Jim for putting this together!" Total Run Time - 1:06:40
