http://www.633main.com/dev252.htm Autobot or Decepticon? 2 Corinthians 5:10 - For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Some people have the idea that because I do a Christian Internet Radio show that I think I am some choir boy who does no wrong. And I hate this perception, but I want to assure you I am no different than any person sitting in the pew. Last time I checked, I have not been translated, God has not sent a Porsche of Fire to scoop me up and take me heaven. I'm a sinner, just like you. But in all my dealings with God, I have my foot planted firm in this belief, Be Good and Don't Be Evil. When Google became an IPO they changed their company motto to: Don't Be Evil. If there is only one message you take away from Christianity it should be this motto. I'm not perfect, but there is a lifestyle that I get from Jesus Christ that I try to emulate. Sometimes I fail, like we all do, but whenever I try my best to be a good honest person in all my dealings, every situation 100% of the time works out for the best. Just this week, one of my largest customers made some accusations against me and became just flat out disrespectful. It was hard, but I immediately began to ask the Lord to help me not go jihad on him. And I asked myself, do I wanna be the good guy or do I wanna be the bad guy. I chose to be the good guy, and after this guy flipped on me, I patiently and kindly proved my point, and saved my contract with him. However, if I responded like my flesh wanted to, we both would have cancelled the contract out of anger. Now I grew up as a child of the '80s and one of my favorite cartoons was the Transformers. Let me refresh your memory on the Transformers. There are two types of Transformers- the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons, robots with the ability to transform themselves into vehicles and weapons. Their planet was destroyed and they came to Earth and their ship crashed deep underground. Four million years later, an eruption brings the ship to the surface. Automatic systems repair the robots, altering their transformation ability to mimic Earth machines. Then war began, some macheines emerged as Autobots and some emerged as evil Decepticons, who sought to enslave humanity and drain the world of its energy. Today, the challenge for you is this. Will you be good or evil? Will you be Autobot or Decpticon? I'm a firm believer that Good always wins. It make look bleek for a moment, but in the end Good always wins. Always! And the prayer today is that we will choose the path of the Autobot instead of the Decpepticon. That we will choose to be Good.

http://www.633main.com/dev251.htm Get Down w/ Warren B. "Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first of all your produce" (Proverbs 3:9). We often hear sermons on tithe and stewardship, but how many of us really get the concept? Sometimes its hard to receive the message because it comes from a preacher, who has a conflict of interest - he is an employee of the church. So to get us over that hurdle, I'm the preacher today, and you aint paying me a dime! Now, last week, if you pay any attention to the news you heard the name Warren Buffett, the second riches man in the world, only behind Bill Gates himself. He just became a hero of mine because he give away 85% of his fortune, most of which would be going to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Although he didn't give away his money to church, his philanthropy is envious. We could stand to learn something from his unselfish act. Warren B. has been quoted saying, "I only know how to make money, I don't know how to spend it." And this is true of most of us, well maybe not the part on how to make it, but definitely the part of not knowing how to spend it. LOL And here lies todays lesson. Here is what I found to work in my life:"Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first of all your produce" (Proverbs 3:9). If you want to be financially free, dedicate all you earn to God. Now this takes alot of faith. But realizing that everything you have is because of the Grace of God, will actually allow you to stay out of debt. God asks us to return to Him only 10% of what He has given us, and to give a faithful offering. This is so important to me, I return to God more than 10%, because owning my own business, I don't know exactly how much money I make, so I just give alot just to make sure I don't dip below 10%. I'm not bragging, but my investment in God has paid off, not only do my business profits continue to grow, my life and health is blessed! So today, here is the prayer I ask you to pray with me, "Father, thank you for your love and mercy. Lord cleanse us of our sins so that we may clearly hear your Holy Spirit, leading and guiding us. Help us Lord to have enough faith to return to You what is yours. Help us Lord to be the Financial beacons of light you will have us to be to our brothers and sisters in this world. In Jesus' name, Amen." -Eric Lusain, Cincinnati, OH

http://www.633main.com/dev250.htm Superman Holla's Back 1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. The very first podcast I did was on superman, and if you wanna listen to that show you should visit the archive section of our website. And me being the DC comic fan that I am, you just know I had to encompass the superman mythology into this week's devotion. But this week I want to high light the relationship of Superman and his father- Jor-El. Superman often spent alot time hollering back at his father when he was in his fortress of solitude. This is how Clark Kent found out that he was really Kal-El of Krypton. This communication with his father is synonymous to our communication with our heavenly father - Prayer. And because we don't pray nearly as much as we should, and because some of us dont know how to pray, here are 4 things to remember when praying: 1.Pray according to the will of God. 1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 2. Pray In the name of Jesus. You know how you have a pin number for your atm card? And you know u can stick that thing in the machine all you want but until you put in the pin code u aint getting no money. Well thats just like prayer. Jesus is your access code, He validates who you are as He sits at the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf. 3. Pray for forgiveness. Ps. 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: 4. Pray without ceasing. Be persistent. If you really want to draw closer to God and improve your qulity of life. Talk to God persistently. I mean ring his phone off the hook. I'll admit, I don't pray enough. And this is my prayer for this week. -Eric Lusain, Cincinnati, OH
