The Creator of the universe has put a commanded blessing on you. Deuteronomy 28 says that when you live a life that honors God and obey His Word, blessings are commanded to chase you down and overtake you. His commanded blessing will cause you to rise out of lack into abundance, out of barely getting by into overflow where supernatural increase is experienced. His commanded blessing on your life will cause you to prosper in spite of your circumstances because when you walk in obedience, wherever you go, the blessing goes.

Every one of us has people in our life that need our blessing and approval. However, a blessing is not a blessing until it's spoken. When you speak, "I'm proud of you. I love you. You are talented. You mean the world to me" to someone, you're not just being kind, you are speaking the blessing over their life.
Your words have creative power; they carry God's supernatural power. Just like you pull back a bow and shoot an arrow, the moment you speak the blessing, God releases favor, ability, wisdom, confidence, and His goodness in extraordinary ways. One word of encouragement, one word of approval can be what helps others around you really step up to who God created them to be and help shape their destiny. As you bless others with your words, you're not only releasing favor into their future but you're releasing favor into your own future because when you help someone else rise higher, that's a seed that you're sowing and God will make sure someone is there to help you rise higher.

David prayed in Psalm 86:17, "God, send me a sign of Your favor." When God puts a promise in our heart, He will always give us some kind of sign to confirm His Word that the promise is going to come to pass, something to boost our faith and encourage us. It may be confirmation through a dream, a person, nature or even something that seems like a coincidence. It may look insignificant to others, but to you it will resonate in your spirit reminding you that God is in control and directing your steps.
How different would our lives be if we lived with David's boldness? Instead of waiting for a sign, we would simply ask for a sign. God wants to do something amazing in your life. He wants to strengthen your faith and uplift your spirit, but He is waiting for you to take that first step. Part of taking action is asking. Those promises that you're standing on, the dreams in your heart, the situation you're believing to turn around, dare to say, "God, give me a sign of Your favor. Give me a sign that I'm going in the right direction." Release your faith by asking and then expect God's goodness. He promises He will confirm His Word by showing you some kind of sign that will prove what He is saying to you.

Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." One of the keys to fulfilling your God-given destiny and finding success is by surrounding yourself with the right people. That means connecting with those who celebrate you, encourage you and lift you up. If you're going to become all God has created you to be, you have to get around the right people that will speak life, faith and vision into your future. Unfortunately, many people live below their full potential because they never get away from the wrong people in their lives, like those that constantly tell them what they can't do and who they can't become. That doesn't have to be you. Don't waste another moment with people that don't sharpen you, celebrate who you are and make you a better person. Life is short. Make your friendships count. Trust God because He's already arranged the right people to come into your life to inspire you, challenge you, help you grow and accomplish your dreams!
